Events & Project Manager

Full time | $95,000 – $100,000 pa + SUPER + SAL PACKAGING
The Role
We are looking for a permanent full-time EXPERIENCED Events & Projects Manager to manage events and project activities across the organisation. This includes larger scale events such as conferences and picnics, through to a range of projects.
You will be responsible for planning, budgeting and managing project timelines for key events. This role requires both independent initiative and collaboration within a broader team. With substantial experience in event and project management, you will have excellent computer skills, a high standard of written English and meticulous attention to detail. Strong leadership and relationship management skills are essential, as you will work with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
You will play a crucial role in delivering key events in the Adopt Change annual calendar, including for our My Forever Family NSW program. These range from large-scale picnics and community events to workshops and training sessions. Working closely with Communications and Operations teams, as well as external agencies, you will ensure the successful execution of in-person and digital events. An understanding of online event platforms – or the ability to learn quickly – will be essential for delivering engaging virtual experiences.
Whilst not essential, a background in community outreach or NGO environments with a strong audience focus will be highly regarded, as will digital events experience.
